Just two sessions into the adventure and I felt my soul just up and die. This evening, I picked up my copy of Thunderspire Labyrinth from a national retailer (btw, there was one more copy available at the store on the west side of town). Dragon Issues 364–370; Dungeon Issues 155–161. I had just finished D&D 4th edition's H1 Keep on the Shadowfell and had moved straight into H2 Thunderspire Labyrinth. I liked the Compare the level 11 boss of H2 with Karavakos the level 15 boss of H3 their attack bonuses vs non-AC defenses are the same. Halfway through Thunderspire Labyrinth, I think the shine of 4E wore off and the “flatness” of H2 was shown. I have updated my D&D Next conversion of H2: Thunderspire Labyrinth.
